BBQ Kale Chips

This BBQ seasoning is incredibly versatile! Try sprinkled on roasted meats or vegetables. Never tried kale chips before? This recipe is bound to convert anyone!

Kale Chips 

150g kale 

Tbsp olive oil 


BBQ Seasoning 

1 Tbsp smoked paprika 

 tsp chilli powder 

½ tsp brown sugar 

½ tsp garlic powder 

1 tsp salt 

 tsp mustard powder 

Pinch of chilli flakes (optional) 


  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper. Remove thick stem from kale, discard, and tear leaves into roughly 3-4cm bite-sized pieces. 

  1. Toss kale and olive oil on prepared tray. Spread out in a single layer and bake for 12-14 minutes, until crispy. Set aside to cool, uncovered, for 2-3 minutes.  

  1. In a small bowl, combine BBQ seasoning ingredients. 

  1. When kale chips are crisp, remove from oven and sprinkle with BBQ seasoning.  

  1. To serve, munch away on this crispy guilt-free snack!
