Tantalizing Tamarillo Smoothie

Tamarillo, once known as the 'Tree Tomato', are a tangy, sweet fruit, with a bold and complex flavour. Enjoy tamarillo by simply cutting in half and scooping out the rich juicy pulp. Or use in a fruit salad, sauces, chutneys or in a delicious smoothie, just like this one!

1 banana
2 tamarillos
400ml milk (cow’s, almond or soy)
Pinch ground cardamom
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 
1 teaspoon honey

1. Peel banana, cut tamarillos in half and scoop insides into a blender with banana.
2. Add remaining smoothie ingredients and blend for 30 seconds until smooth.
3. Serve over ice if desired.
