Air Fryer Chipotle Roast Chicken

Cooking a roast chicken has never been easier thanks to the handy air fryer! We’ve spiced things up by adding a delish chipotle sauce for flavour that packs a punch.

Ingredients

100g chipotle sauce
1.1kg whole chicken

  1. Before you start
    Preheat air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Prep & cook chicken
    Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. Place on tray of air fryer and cook for an initial 45 minutes.
  3. After 45 minutes, remove chicken from air fryer and pour over half of the chipotle sauce. Spread evenly over chicken with a brush or a spoon and return to air fryer to cook for a further 10-15 minutes, until chicken has charred and is cooked through. The juices should run clear when a knife is inserted into the thickest part of the chicken (breast or thigh).
  4. To finish
    Rest chicken for about 10 minutes before carving and serving.
