We LOVE green smoothies and this one is packed full of healthy plant-based fats – thanks to avocado and hemp!
Creamy Avocado Smoothie
- ½ banana sliced
- ¼ avocado diced
- 20 g baby spinach
- 2 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp honey (optional)
- Prep banana and avocado.
- Add all ingredients along with a pinch of salt to a blender and blend for about 1 minute, until smooth.
Freeze your banana in advance if you like a thicker smoothie! Tips:
- Add some fresh mint or pineapple for a tropical flavour booster!
- If adding protein powder, make sure to up the water content by another 1/4-1/3 cup.
