Green Breakfast Smoothie

This green smoothie has a little extra goodness in the form of banana and oats for carbs and fibre, and cashew nuts for healthy fats to make it a great breakfast option. The courgette is a sneaky way to add more veg that you wont taste. Freeze the banana and courgette in portions so that breakfast time is quick, and to ensure your smoothie is nice and cold. What’s with the pinch of salt you ask? It brings out the flavours in a delicious way!

Green Breakfast Smoothie

Servings 1
Prep Time 5 mins


  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful spinach
  • ½ frozen courgette, sliced
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 Tbsp oats
  • 1 Tbsp cashew nuts
  • Pinch of salt


  • Place all smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, until combined.
