The Grace whānau

Rathmoy farm has been home to the Grace family and their many loved animals, since 1935. The Grace whānau has been farming for six generations in Hunterville, in the lower North Island. Rathmoy’s spacious and diverse landscape provides a peaceful, happy and healthy home for a variety of sheep and cattle breeds including Speckle Park, Angus and Hereford.

For Ruby and Sean, purchasing their own farm on the western side of Lake Taupō has been an enormous achievement. Having a balance of cattle and sheep as well as keeping the farm in permanent pastures allows them to manage their environmental footprint and ensures they are producing high quality products that are gentle on the land, protecting this asset for generations to come.
