Kiriroa Station

King whanau
Farm owners and operators Eugene & Pania King with their four sons – Levi, Haeora, Erueti & Taane

You may have caught these familiar smiles on Country Calendar a couple of weeks ago, introducing the Kings of Kiriroa Station, who have been farming in Aotearoa for over 20 years. Their lush land is located 72km north-west of sunny Gisborne.

Starting in the shearing industry, these passionate farmers worked hard with whānau collectively for 12 years, and now all proudly own and operate their properties. You could say it’s in their blood!

Pania explains the family have created the perfect balance between work, farming and family – “happy whānau, happy hipi” (happy family, happy sheep. The Kings love what they do and do what they love, and are immensely proud to produce a product that is grown with the uttermost respect and aroha, from farm to plate.
