Fondue For Two

Share the love of food this Valentine's and prepare our decadent Fondue For Two for a special loved one!

Fondue

½ cup cream

100g dark chocolate, broken or chopped into chunks

 

Optional Flavours

2-3 tablespoons peanut butter

Zest of ½ orange, very finely grated

Pinch of chilli powder

 

To Serve

Fresh fruit (e.g. bananas, grapes, berries, pear, apple)

Marshmallows

Skewers or toothpicks

 

1. Add cream and any one of the desired flavours to a small pot and bring to a gentle simmer on low-medium heat. As soon as it simmers, remove from heat and add chocolate.

2. Allow to sit for about 2 minutes until chocolate softens, then stir gently until combined.

3. Meanwhile, dice fruit into bite-sized pieces and/or set marshmallows aside.

To serve, transfer chocolate to a serving bowl or fondue set and place fruit and/or marshmallows onto skewers/toothpicks for dipping.
